I co-directed Matriarch (w/t) on this extraordinary retrospective documentary telling the rags to riches tale of a mother chimpanzee and her rise to power. We had unprecedented access to 60 years of archive from Jane Goodall’s groundbreaking primate study and was very privileged to interview Jane as part of this wonderful story shortly before she passed away.
